Q : If I'm interested in this project, what should I do?

A : To place a pledge for Barbaric, click on the green button “Back this project” at the top of the page and then select the pledge that interests you.(Kickstarter will not charge your credit card at this time.)

After the end of the campaign, Kickstarter will charge your credit card that you have linked to your account based on the Pledge you choose. After about 1-2 months, you will receive an email confirming your address from Backerkit Pledge Manager, this is where your final shipping charge will be calculated and billed. You will also be able to further upgrade your pledge there if you decide you want more add-ons, additional copies of the game. Barbaric will be manufactured, shipped, and we will begin delivering copies to backers in June-July of 2023.

Q : Why is the goal only 20,000 SGD?

A : We have previously opened preorders in Thailand during June-July 2022, which granted us more than 58,000 SGD from Thai people! We therefore, require just not much during the crowdfunding campaign to cover the cost of production for this game. We would like to thank you all of our Backers for supporting and trusting in Barbaric.

Q : Will Barbaric be published or translated into other languages?

A : Barbaric are actively looking at localization opportunities. Due to the tight timelines for the Kickstarter, we will only be able to fulfill this campaign with English and Thai versions.

Q : How do I add the add-ons?

A : You have two options,

  1. Click manage pledge and increase your pledge by the amount of the add-on. When the pledge manager after the campaign opens, you will be able to allocate the funds to the specific add-on.

OR

  1. You can wait and add on the item in the pledge manager. The cost will be added to your total, and you will pay for the add-ons you selected at that time.

Q : Is this project VAT included?

A : Yes! For backers who are located in the regions where we offer Custom Friendly Shipping (USA, Canada, Australia and Asia country by VFI), any VAT or import taxes are already included in the shipping price for those regions.

Q : If I am in Europe, Will I have to pay VAT?

A : VAT for UK and EU customers will be collected in the pledge manager, so you will not have to pay to receive the game after it has shipped.

Q : I want to sleeve my cards, what the size of card? Is the insert compatible?

A : Yes! The insert tray of Barbaric is designed to accommodate sleeved cards and their size is 63*88 mm. In Collector Pledge, our addon (card sleeves) are included in the set already.

Q : I have backed at 1 SGD. Will I have access to the Pledge Manager to upgrade my pledge later?

A : Yes! The pledge manager will go live after the Kickstarter campaign and you will be able to upgrade your pledge. However, please, consider that upgrading your pledge from this level after the campaign will be considered as “late pledge”, so the price for the pledge will be slightly higher than during the Kickstarter.

Q : Can Barbaric Part II be played stand-alone without part I?

A : Yes, Barbaric: into the lost jungle (Part II) can be play stand-alone without Barbaric: After Apocalypse (Part I) and they also can be combined to play together with sharing the character and increase amount of maximum players upto 6

Q : Can Barbaric: the challenger be played stand-alone?

A : No, For Barbaric : the challenger, you will need at least one Barbaric Part 1 or 2 in order to play.

Q : Is there going to be a Solo?

A : Yes, We are in development and testing phase. If we reach the target on Stretch Goal, it will be added to both Barbaric Part 1 and 2.

Q : What are the miniatures made of?

A : They are made out of High-Quality PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride).

Q : I have backed at Core Pledge. Will I be able to upgrade my pledge during the Pledge Manager?

A : Yes! The pledge manager will go live after the KS campaign and you will be able to upgrade your pledge. If you pledged at Core Pledge level or higher, the price of the pledges will be the same as on KS.

Q : Is it possible to make a group purchase?

A : Unfortunately not. We have done our best to provide the best possible shipping prices already for our Kickstarter supporters.

Through the survey we will verify the following eligibility proof: - Verifiable store Name, address, phone number

Once the surveyed is completed, if you are interested in our offer, you will have access to our pledge manager and you will have the chance to pre-order the game.

Q : How is the Kickstarter edition of the game different from the one that will be available at retail?

A : The retail version will not contain Stretch Goals and it will probably be very different in terms of content with respect to the Kickstarter edition. Also, the MSRP of the game is much higher than the price we are offering in this Kickstarter campaign.

Q : What happens if I receive the game and model(s) or other game component(s) are missing or damaged?

A : If you find damaged components or (worst case) missing components, we would provide a replacement for that component.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
