DAY 28: CHANCE OF THE LAST RIDER AND GEAR!

Hello Barbarics!

We have now entered the final phase of this project. There are only a few hours left until our project ends. From the current calculation of the prizes that we can give you, if the total order amount is more than this in the last period, we could give you one additional Gear and Rider. (Of course, along with the Promo) Let's join the countdown together for this special time. The Gear that will be added comes from the votes, 

which everyone can vote for at this link. We will close the vote count at the end of this project and summarize the results again after the campaign ends. 

For the Rider, we have chosen a character for you already, which is the closest competitor to the Peacock. If there is any additional opportunity for us to provide more either Rider or Gear, we will provide more details after the campaign ends. Day 28 - Book of Barbaric

This is a 40-pages Art Booklet containing the full artwork of each character (For most characters, you can not see all of them from the character boards), including the background of each character that we draw and pay attention to every detail. This also includes the backstory of each clan's Rider and lore of all Gears. Monsters and their Minions' stories are as well written here. We hope that everyone will be able to delve deeper into the world of Barbaric and more in our games, which we believe will definitely make you play this game more and make it more enjoyable for you all.

Backers' Choice (1,000 Backers) - New Rider (Xi Feng, The Breeze Baron) 

An ex-nobleman in the Kongque Clan, Xi Feng had an Emperor Fan as a weapon, which he could use to attack at close range, or merge with his internal energy, Qi, to control the air masses around him. He was ordered by the Emperor or Kongque to find and collect the Atomic Cores, which all of them will use to create a powerful weapon that could defeat every other clan. Of course, Xi Feng's Emperor Fan was also forged from an Atomic Core! His playstyle can be divided into 2 classes.

•  Storm Dancer, by evolving his fan to launch a long-range chakra attack, can assassinate his enemies quickly with ease. This also comes with evasion skill, which turns him into a terrifying assassin.
•  Wind Whisper, by developing his wind utilization even further, can manipulate the air masses around him to not just attack even larger groups of enemies, but also change the position of his targets as well.

Finally, we are done!

We can say that this is the project, where we pack as much content as we can. And we would like to thank everyone in the community for providing such great feedback. Some of the rewards were new ideas that were created during the project just for you all. The optimism during the campaign was so energizing. We are so encouraged and excited to get this game into your hands, to let everyone know that you are a priority for helping to make our dream games come true. If you have additional questions, would like to get the latest news, or talk with other backers, please join our group!

What is next?

1) We take a break - we are going to be thanking a lot of people over the next couple of weeks for their contribution to this success.
2) Payment - Kickstarter is going to charge you for your pledges to the credit card you chose. If there are any issues, they should retry for 1-2 weeks. If you have any problem with the payment within this period, please contact Kickstarter support directly.
3) Pledge Manager - In early October, we are going to send a survey from Backerkit, in which you will confirm your order. It also gives you the option to upgrade your pledges, add additional add-ons, verify your shipping address, and finalize your shipping charges.
4) Monthly Updates - You can expect an update at least once per month. The next update is going to be within a few weeks once the Pledge Manager opens.

DAY 27: MORE THAN 144 COMBINATIONS NOW!

Hello Barbarics!

Currently, our project has more than 24 different types of Riders and Gears, which means you can choose between 144 different character combinations! This makes each match really a game of its own. That’s why we focus on character development and before they are usable in the game, they have to go through a rough test to see all possibilities. After the project ends in a few days, we are going to focus on improving the balance test between characters, so that no one is either overpowered or feeble. This is because we think that balance is the key for making competitive games more enjoyable.

 Day 27 - Kraken's Promo Cards

Similar to other Gears, the Promo cards are going to add more variety and player choices to the skills available during the game.

We have finally entered the last day for this project. Barbaric is the project that we, Hexa House, have spent more than 2 years on during the COVID Pandemic, which was a difficult time to work on. DAY 26: WRATH OF THE SEA!

Day 26 - New Gear (Kraken, The Metal Tentacle)

The gear was created in the shape of Kraken, the legendary monster. Its strong and robust tentacles are made of rubber wrapped in thick steel. They are highly flexible to stretch and strong when attacking its targets. It can also attack by releasing flammable liquid at its opponents and setting it on fire while at sea. Its playstyle can be divided into 2 classes.

• Tentacle Smasher, it strengthens its tentacles and is able to stop the enemy's movement. This makes it possible to compete with other Gears out there.
• Arsonist Machine, By increasing the flame's intensity and promoting burning debuffs, enemies are quickly incinerated without a sweat

Daily FAQ

Q: How is the Kickstarter edition of the game different from the one that will be available at retail?

A: The retail version will not contain Stretch Goals and it will probably be very different in terms of content with respect to the Kickstarter edition. Also, the MSRP of the game is much higher than the price we are offering in this Kickstarter campaign.

DAY 25: MEGA MINION

Day 25 - Mega Minion

A new module increases the Minions’ abilities for additional challenges. By adding this module, simply draw a random Minions card before the game begins. There are additional special abilities and their target selection rule. These Mega Minions are placed in hexes according to their queen and the rules for this module will be added to the rulebook of each part.

Daily FAQ

Q: How do I add the add-ons?

A: You have two options,

1. Click manage pledge and increase your pledge by the amount of the add-on. When the pledge manager after the campaign opens, you will be able to allocate the funds to the specific add-on.

OR

2. You can wait and add on the item in the pledge manager. The cost will be added to your total, and you will pay for the add-ons you selected at that time.

Summary of each Box of Barbaric

Barbaric: After the Apocalypse - PvP (Free for All), Solo Mode, the main obstacle is the whirlpool in the middle of the map, which will cause chaos in the player's movement. This box comes with Comogon, which stands out from its agile movement and strong melee attacks, while controlling her Minions to attack her targets swiftly.

Barbaric: Into the Lost Jungle - PVP (2v2v2 / 1v1v1), Solo Mode. The main obstacle in this map are the waterfall and Lunar tidal system. The tide makes the player consider their movement and actions even more. Otherwise, it may be time-consuming to move or at worst, become trapped in a puddle. This box comes with Morayzon, whose bread and butter are long-range lightning attacks and shock debuff. This makes it even more troublesome to perform actions.

Barbaric: Heart of the Grand Canyon - PvP (3v3 / 2v2 / 1v1), Solo Mode, Coop Mode. The unique system in this map is the random tiles placed on the map. Every player has an option to take a detour just to avoid the unpredictability of those tiles or risk opening the tiles and prepare for the unfortunate events! This box comes with Honetia. She can control her swarm to attack her foes. The most terrifying thin is that they hunt in packs and their readiness to die by kamikaze attacks.
