DAY 9: PROJECT WE LOVE!

Hello Barbarics!
This is amazing! Our Barbaric was selected as a “Project We Love,” by Kickstarter, which is our way of highlighting great and brilliant examples of creativity. From now on, everyone will see a badge under the project’s video.
Day 9 - SOLO Mode (Part 1)
This mode allows anyone to play this game alone, with additional rules added to the Rulebook, specifically, for the cards of this mode. The purpose of the play is that the player must attempt to snatch the core in the center of the map, and safely exit the map without being defeated by the monster or its minions. In this mode, the monster and minions are much stronger and fiercer than the normal game mode. This also allows you to practice finding new combinations between Riders and Gears, and an interesting card tableau for each particular combination of Riders and Gears. Solo mode enables you to practice and improve your skills before going out, competing against other players.

Q: Will the exclusive extra cards have certain gameplay “advantage” or they are just special copies of cards that replace the existing cards?
A: Promo Cards are considered as an additional module, which can be played with or without. (For the equality between all players, everyone must add the Promo Cards to their decks) They are counter-type cards, which make the game much more intense and enjoyable.

As everyone knows, we are now revealing Daily Unlocks. We have prepared a surprise on day 12 waiting for you. There are only 4 days left before the big update. We’ll be revealing everyday until 28 days are up. If you are still unsure whether to support our project or not, feel free to follow this project, or you can back at 2 SGD level, which will grant you an access to the pledge manager later. This will unlock Backers’ Choice of Rider and Gear even faster!
Day 8 - Arun's Promo Cards
Just like other Riders, the promo cards will add more variety and choices to the skills.

Q: Is it possible to get the other Riders or Gears that would not win the majority vote at an additional cost or as an add-on?
A: For those content that wouldn’t win the vote, we would take them back into consideration, in case the vote result is very similar. Maybe, you’ll find them in the Daily Unlocks or as an Add-on later.
The Twilight Watcher
Kira from Owemon clan, who was made an orphan during the brutal war. He voluntarily joined martial arts training at a young age. Until, finally, Kira was the first to win the tournament and given the title of the clan’s first Rider, a position that the Owemons believed to be the most prestigious, comparable to that of the clan leader. This was the beginning of the Death of the Night, that every tribe will be terrified of.

Hello Barbarics!
It's already been a week with a total pledge of more than 260,000 SGD! We would like to thank everyone for their support. For anyone who is interested in getting this game, you still have 3 weeks left to decide if this game and which pledge is right for you. We know that many people may consider our project too expensive. However, with a not so big production batch, and our attention to detail to quality, this results in production cost being relatively high. Although, we still have various numbers of Daily Unlocks, waiting to surprise you. We will do our best to make everyone feel that your support for this project is worthy.
Day 7 -New Rider (Arun, The Martial Artist) - Arun's abilities focus on his different fighting maneuvers. His core is choosing a move that generates combo tokens and continuous attacks. Additionally, his mobility skill really helps him in moving around the board. This makes him one of the most formidable Melee Riders in the game.

Q: Is there any chance of a campaign/scenario/story mode?
A: We have received some interesting comments, regarding the COOP mode, which is feasible. However, for campaign, scenario, or story mode, they could not be possible in this project. We will consider doing more next time.
Backer's Choice Vote Results 3 Days ago
From the past 3 days, it seems that the peacock and the fox have gained a lot of popularity and they are really close. Only 300 Backers needed to unlock. Remember, this Rider will be added to the Expansion box for free. There is also a new Gear waiting for you! Stay tuned! We still have 15 days remaining before the final results are announced. Hello Barbarics!
Happy Sunday. We hope you have enjoyed the first week of this campaign! Thank you for suggestions over the past week. We have read all of your comments and will make the best out of them as we can. Now, we have a BGG listing of Barbaric and here it is. Everyone can ask questions, and discuss about the game. For anyone who has already tested our game, it would be great if you could leave a review to let everyone know how you feel after you have tried it.
Day 5 - Additional Art will be provided on the Event Cards
Each card will have different art. This is for the nice look of the game and for the ease of players to immerse themselves even more with the stories and lore happening in the game.

Q: I have backed at 2 SGD. Will I have access to the Pledge Manager to upgrade my pledge later?
A: Yes! The pledge manager will go live after the Kickstarter campaign and you will be able to upgrade your pledge. However, please, consider that upgrading your pledge from this level after the campaign will be considered as "late pledge", so the price for the pledge will be slightly higher than during the Kickstarter.
The Mercenary leader
Pia Maber, a young Catacian general with excellent fighting skills. Her specialty is her marksmanship, which is second to none. She quickly evolved from just a Rider to the Leader of the Mercenary Force.
One day, she was informed by the scouts that they had discovered some kind of power source that could help the townspeople. Therefore, she decided to go, in search for it, by herself. It is not just for the sake of her, but it is for the whole Catacians.

Hello, today, we had a meeting just before the weekly holiday. We have decided to add more characters in addition to the daily unlocks! Depending on the number of backers supporting our project, those characters will be added to the expansion pack immediately. Also, everyone can take part in this important decision, with these options below:
We will collect the result of the vote from today until August 31st. They will be announced to everyone before the project ends on September 5th.
